Our Beliefs
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. We believe in His substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world.
SALVATION
We believe all are born with a sinful nature and that the work of Christ’s atonement at the Cross was to redeem us from the power of sin. We believe that this salvation from sin is available to all who are willing to receive it through the prayer of salvation.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.) We believe in the Holy Spirit’s interaction with man as a helper and comforter (John 14:16). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.
THE SACRED SCRIPTURE
We believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of mankind.
STEWARDSHIP
We believe that everyone is the steward of their life and resources, all of which ultimately belong to God, the ultimate Provider. We believe that tithing is a Biblical mandate and the measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.
THE CHURCH
We believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ consisting of all those who have accepted the work of Christ’s atonement. We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism to unbelievers and edification of the Body of Christ.
PRAYER AND PRAISE
We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord to meet their needs according to God’s perfect will and in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
HEALING
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church and through the laying on of hands in prayer.
EVANGELISM
The Lord commands us to evangelize all people and nations by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that this is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ.
WATER BAPTISM
We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion of water in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ.
COMMITMENT TO ISRAEL
We believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We believe Christians should bless and comfort Israel and the Jewish people. Believers have a Bible mandate to combat anti-Semitism and to speak out in defense of Israel and the chosen people.
PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST
We believe that every believer has a unique relationship with the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace for God’s help, protection and provision in every area of their lives.

Pastor John Hagee
Pastor John C. Hagee is the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a non-denominational evangelical church with more than 22,000 members. Pastor Hagee has served the Lord in the gospel ministry for over 60 years.
Pastor Matt Hagee
Pastor Matt Hagee is the Lead Pastor of the 22,000 member Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas where he partners with his father, founder Pastor John Hagee. Pastor Matt and his wife Kendal are committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the nations of the world and committed to building bridges between generations.
Since graduating from Oral Roberts University, Pastor Matt has authored three books, founded an award-winning Gospel music group and completed his graduate studies at Texas A&M University College Station.
He and his wife Kendal share weekly messages of encouragement through their television program, The Difference and the Matt and Kendal Hagee podcast. Diana Hagee is the wife of Pastor John Hagee, founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. Among her ministry duties are to coordinate all special events for Hagee Ministries, Cornerstone Church, Cornerstone Christian Schools, and Christians United for Israel.
