God Sees What You Can Be and Wants To Help You Reach Your Highest and Happiest Potential Life!
Suppose your boss, or perhaps a teacher — someone important in your life says, “I believe in you, and you’re growing, developing doing a better than expected job. I see so much potential in you I have decided to promote you to a higher position.”
God sees the very best in you. He wants to lift you up to a happier, more productive and more successful life! His desire for you and all of us is to reach new levels of joy, productivity and fulfillment.
Part of what I prepare on this blog is intended to prepare you for a more successful future. I want you to be successful in your work…enjoy a satisfying, loving marriage…see your finances grow…build meaningful relationships…and experience victory over any circumstance!
Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
To have God’s Great Promises for us, we are instructed repeatedly to follow His way and His teachings. We are instructed to stop trying to run our lives our way, the way of “getting” and over time change.
Give your decisions to God. Let God be your guide. Pray and request his guidance. It will come along – so many of us have observed this over the centuries. Just read through the Old Testament beginning with Deuteronomy. Read perhaps 5 or 10 pages every day. You’ll see repeatedly the same cure for people’s problems. God tells us, Do as I instruct you and you’ll be successful. Do it your way and your life will be a disaster!
Change your thinking to the Way of Giving. Give to help others. Give to bring blessings to other people, and suddenly you will find you have more!

Deuteronomy 28 New International Version (NIV)
Blessings for Obedience To God
28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. 11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
Curses for Disobedience
15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:

When we follow God’s Way we are blessed and we desire to give to help others. In helping others we are blessed again by God because the way of Giving is far superior to the way of getting.
Really He who dies with the most toys DOES NOT win!
God hears our prayers and makes changes in our lives! I always remember a woman calling into a radio broadcast shouting at a Bishop, “I don’t see how prayer will do anything for me!” and that’s right. She won’t see it and you won’t see it. Some things have to be experienced! Experience this by giving the steering wheel of your life to God and continuing to read and pray. Amazing changes WILL happen!
There are key biblical principles that will help you move into a more abundant life.
Have faith that God can help you rise above any adversity.
When you’re in a difficult situation and something is going on that you don’t like, very often this is simply a test of your faith. Take comfort knowing God has your best interest at heart. Regardless of your current circumstances, the way out is to follow Him faithfully. As you do, God will begin to turn things around for your good and His glory.
One testimony came in a letter to Pastor Joel Osteen at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX from Greg, who shared how God honored his commitment to keep a positive, faith-filled attitude even after he received crushing news that his boss had changed his mind about a raise he had agreed to give Greg:
“His words were like a stranglehold on my throat. I went home and prayed. I asked God to allow me to feel peace and not anger toward my boss. The next morning I was sharing with my wife how I needed to be more thankful, and the phone rang. It was my boss, saying my raise had been reinstated! I was speechless. This is a new chapter in my walk with the Lord. Thank you for your words of hope and encouragement. They’ve helped me more than you know!”
What a great reminder that when God is ready, no man can stop Him! No circumstance can keep you down! When God says it’s time, it’s time. “Because of your faith it will happen” (Matthew 9:29, TLB).
Be Open to Learn and Stop Fighting!
That woman who couldn’t see how prayer would help her was not “teachable”. We should always be willing to learn. Stay open to new ideas and new ways of doing things. So many people are so defensive. They behave as if they believe they were born perfect and have no faults! Look for opportunities to do a self-evaluation and use it to motivate yourself to grow and improve. If someone is critical of your behavior or your business management, don’t be angry, be open to consider what has been said and consider how you can improve yourself or your management style to run a better business that satisfies customers more.
One who is not teachable is not humble, especially with those God has placed in authority over us. Greg could have gotten mad at his boss for canceling his raise. But Greg humbly accepted the lesson God wanted him to learn, and the situation turned around.
That’s a soft heart and a teachable spirit! When you say, “God, I don’t really understand this or agree with it, but I’m going to follow You anyway,” you’re placing your mind in a “learning mode” and from there everything improves.
“God’s strong hand is on you; he’ll promote you at the right time” (1 Peter 5:6, The Message).
Another translation: 1 Peter 5:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Make part of your personal religion to Serve others and be a blessing.
Do something to help someone every day – even if all you can do is pray for that person. The more you give the more you’ll get. Give help and you’ll see that help comes back to you.
One of the easiest things to do when you’re facing trials is to turn inward and become self-focused. But every day we should look for opportunities to do good and make a difference in other people’s lives.
A good way to wake up each morning is to ask How can I bless someone today? And pray first, with thanks for the blessings you have, then with a request that God show you a way to help others. And then have faith he can take care of the rest.
If you take time for others, God will look out for your needs.
Jesus the Christ was the perfect example. He came as the Lord of heaven who could have demanded that everyone serve Him. But Jesus taught us to serve and pour ourselves out as a continual sacrifice to be kindly and helpful to others.
We see in this reference: Mark 10:45 New International Version (NIV)
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Live a lifestyle of giving — God heals, helps and blesses the happy giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6-15 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Cheerful Giver
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency[b] in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written,
“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. 13 By their approval of this service, they[c] will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, 14 while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
If you live by biblical principles, your life will be transformed like those of so many others who have already committed themselves to rise with God’s Help, above their circumstances.
I want to add this important understanding.
We ARE in the final days before Jesus arrives. I personally believe it will be before the end of year 2022. But no one knows for sure.
“The World” the modern society, tells us to “do it if it feels good” and “do what you like best” and “follow your passions” and “being kindly to others is stupid.”
Don’t fall for these lies because they are intended to draw you into Satan’s trap. Follow the Way of Jesus the Christ and expect sometimes you’ll be hurt by others who think Selfishness is the path. They’re wrong and one day they’ll face God’s judgment and the end of it will be a very sad end for them.
But, For those who really love Jesus, their end will be richly rewarded.
I see one last question you may have. Why should we be obedient to God? If you don’t realize yet what a mess humankind has made of this planet then you’ll have to do some thinking. If you haven’t concluded that your life is either a disaster, or in need at least, of serious improvement, then you need to reconsider. If all of this “God Stuff” sounds like a load of nonsense and you really believe life formed by accident, and the college professors are telling the truth, you should do much more reading here and at my website with uses articles from excellent scientists and more references to more websites to prove that God is Real and He created the universe and all life. If we want a peaceful world and a successful life we must follow God’s Ways and Laws. There is no other alternative.
