This article will be part of a longer piece I’ working on, which I am presently tempted to entitle: “The Last Ten Miserable Years.” I’ll decide later. This is a good place to preserve the article and let you have a peak about our future.
The Final 10-Year Timeline
Timeline developed by

End of Age Timeline, Events and Sequencing
PART 1: Nowhere does the bible speak of a “7-year tribulation period.” Nor, does it refer to the Seven Year Covenant Period as a time period of tribulation.
Moreover, the Rapture could not be tonight as pre-tribbers claim, or any night for the next seven years and 45 days, because of unfulfilled, preceding prophetic events.
Dan 8:11-14 tells us hermeneutically that the last 7 years begins when sacrifice and offering is abolished in an inferred restored Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and continues for 2300 days (about 6.4 years). That’s 3.4 years past the end of the Seven Year Covenant Period, typically, wrongly, un-scripturally, referred to by pre-tribbers as the “7-years of tribulation.”
Dan 9:24 tells us there is a 7-year period remaining to complete this age.
Dan 8:13-14 speaks of a mid-point of the Seven Year Covenant which ends with Jesus’ return after the following 3.5 year Great Tribulation Period, which is the last period of this age and follows the Seven Year Covenant.
Daniel 9:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’[a] In the middle of the ‘seven’[b] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple[c] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.[d]”[e]
& 12:11-13 tells of an upcoming Seven Year Covenant (Mideast Peace Treaty).
Daniel 12:11-13 New International Version (NIV)
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13 “As for you Daniel, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”
We see here, it says that sacrifices and offering at the inferred Jewish Temple will be abolished in the middle this 7 year period.
And AT THE END OF this 1,290 days, will come one who makes desolate. It and insinuates a period of time “at the end of days” beyond the Abomination of Desolation till the end.
Rev 11;3, 12:6 &14 and 13:5 tell us the time period beyond the Abomination of Desolation is 1260 days or 42 mos. or 3.5 years.
Revelation 11 New International Version (NIV)
The Two Witnesses
11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
Revelation 12 New International Version (NIV)
The Woman and the Dragon
12 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”[a] And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.
Historicist interpreters have usually understood the “time, times and half a time” to mean (i.e. 1+2+0.5=3.5), “1,260 days” and “42 months” or 3.5 years.
We can now draw a deduction: The “last week” of Dan 9:24 begins in the middle of the Seven Year Covenant and continues for 7 years, extending thru the 3.5 year remainder of the Seven Year Covenant and then through the 1260 days or 42 months or 3.5 years of the Great Tribulation Period, which is also called the Day of The LORD or the Time of Wrath. This period ends with the Battle of Armageddon and Christ’s return with the Church to establish Christ’s millennial reign on earth for 1,000 years.
her·me·neu·tic
/ˌhərməˈn(y)o͞odik/
adjective
concerning interpretation, especially of the Bible or literary texts.
noun
a method or theory of interpretation.
By this we can feel certain, that the Great Tribulation Period of 42- months cannot hermeneutically be a period within the last one-half of the Seven Year Covenant Period, as taught in the pre-tribulation rapturist thesis.
Dan 12:1 begins, “At that time . . .” which is a metaphor for “The Day of The LORD” being described by the angel at the end of Daniel 11 and continuing into Daniel 12, which, “Day of The LORD” is the last 3.5 years of this civilization since Noah.
The Reign of The Antichrist then FOLLOWS (comes after) the Seven-Year Covenant, and constitutes the “Time of Great Tribulation.” The verse, Dan 12:1, tells us unequivocally that the Rapture will occur in this last 3.5-year period, which follows the Seven Year Covenant.
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”
Dan 12:11-13 expands on Dan. 9:27 and tells us the Abomination of Desolation occurs 3.5 years or 1290 days after the Abolishment of Sacrifice and Offering, or, therefore, at the end of the Seven Year Covenant (A period erroneously referred to, mainly by Baptists, as the “Tribulation Period.” It also stresses a major event to occur for Christians 45-days after the Abomination of Desolation and into the 3.5-year Great Tribulation, which comes after the Seven Year Covenant. Could it be anything other than the Rapture? Moreover, the whole 12th Chapter of Daniel is about the Rapture. About what else could it be speaking?
Additionally, Dan 9:24 and Revelation 19:6-10 tell bible students that much of Daniel’s 70th Week takes place in Heaven. Moreover, Matt 24:22 explains the days of the 1260 day Great Tribulation will be shortened for the saved, cut short, from this horrendous time in which about two-thirds of the earth’s population will perish. Therefore, can the Rapture occur anywhere other than in accordance with Dan 12:12?
2 Thess. 2:1-5 is hermeneutic with this, as is the heart of Jesus’ mini apocalypse at Matt. 24:15-31, Mark 13:14-27 and Luke 21:20-28; As well as, Revelation 14 and Revelation 7. Please see these references now.
If the mention of “hermeneutics” is disturbing you, see this short video:
Therefore, the “latter days” begins with the Seven Year Covenant. By simple addition, from the beginning of the Seven Year Covenant until the Rapture are 7-years and 45-days. And from the beginning of the Seven Year Covenant to the Second Coming of Jesus is 10.5 years.
I (Newdell) contend that it is likely, the final 10.5 year period began when the US declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel December 6, 2017 and opened the US Embassy there on May 14, 2018.
If that is right counting from May 14, 2018, 7-years takes us to May 2025. I should expect most of the world to be in turmoil by then. Add 3 years and you land around May 2028 and the rapture might occur 6 to 8 months later, around December or January 2029. Those who love God and intend to keep his commandments must hold fast to his words and remain in prayer through that time. Purge your life of any sinful behavior and wait upon God for your salvation. Look up! Your salvation grows nearer.
It is my opinion that most of the confusion about rapture timing comes because most of today’s evangelicals think the 70th Week of Daniel 9:24 and the Seven Year Covenant of Daniel 9:27 are the same seven (7) year period. However, anyone who delves into any of the numerous hermeneutics will discover right away that it can’t be.
Most of the evangelicals never get that far, instead of reading and understanding, they parrot what they have been taught, fathered by William Darby (1800-1882) and made prominent by a scoundrel, hard drinking, family abandoner, biblical annotator, Cyrus Scofield, annotator of the 1917 Scofield Reference Bible.
(SN:=Newdell: Imagine building your life plans around a Bible produced by such an untrustworthy source! What a mistake! There must be thousands who believe what their church fathers teach, which they got by studying Scofield.)
To make this convoluted interpretation fit; the evangelicals, erroneously:
1) Place the 3.5-year Great Tribulation inside the last 3.5 years of the Seven Year Covenant. Effectively, combining the 1290 scriptural days of Dan. 9:11 and the 1260 days of Rev. 11:2-5, 12:6-14 and 13:5, negating 3.5 years of time and convoluting and mixing events and their relative sequencing that is important for Christians to know.
2) Do away with the would be conflict sequence of the Mini Apocalypse of Jesus at Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, and their interpretation by proclaiming without scriptural reference that Jesus’ answer to the apostles questions about end-of-age-events is only applicable to Israel and not the Church in contradiction to Romans 9-11 and Ephesians 2.
3) Proclaim the Rapture of the Church under the Fourth Seal when John is called into the Throne Room of Heaven, where there is no mention of “multitudes in white robes” in contradiction of Revelation Chapters 7 &14, where the Rapture of the Firstfruits and the Church are described under the Sixth Seal.
4) To further contradict scripture these evangelicals proclaim this passage in 2 above as the Rapture of the “lost” or “left behind” after the supposed Pre-Trib Rapture. They expect those righteous to be Raptured during the Great Tribulation Period. (This is the two raptures thesis.)
Rev 9:20-21, 15:8, 16:9-10 & 20-21 tell us there will be no repentance (or forgiveness) during the Great Tribulation Period until the very end.
(SN: There is a bit of sarcasm here. The same who were attempting to prove God is a myth are now cursing God. They surely will not be forgiven and taken to a place of safety. Their end is assured unless they survive and then beg forgiveness and promise to repent beginning with belief upon Jesus the Christ.)
Rev 16 9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.
10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony
20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds,[a] fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.
After destruction of approximately two-thirds of the world population a remnant will finally acknowledge God, and evidently go into the millennial reign with the Church.
The Wrath of God is a distinct time period. It is within the Great Tribulation, also called the Day of the Lord. A concordant search will reveal that we are born unto “Tribulation,” but not unto “Wrath.” During our life God chastens, permits afflictions, persecutions, and tribulations to try, purge, and make us “white,” even as silver is refined in the furnace, but, we are instructed to “wait for His Son from Heaven . . . even Jesus, which hath delivered us from the wrath to come.”
I Thessalonians 1:10. The term “delivered” in Greek is rhuomai, meaning “to rescue.” His coming at the Rapture is therefore “to rescue” us from the wrath to come; NIV uses this rendering: “God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation . . . Wherefore comfort yourselves together.” I Thessalonians 5:9&11– Why? For we have received salvation from the “Wrath of God!”
In the book “Revelation,” the term “tribulation” or “great tribulation” does not appear in the opening of the scroll with seven seals, which is the outline for end of age events, until Revelation 7:14, when the saints are in heaven, [e.g. immediately after the Rapture]. The term does not appear again in scripture; but the Wrath of God takes over, appearing thirteen (13) times from Revelation 6:16 to Revelation 19:15, during which time “they repented not” is repeated three times.—Mary Stewart Relfe, PhD, “When Your Money Fails,” 1983.
In Summary: the outline of what to expect for this end of the age is:
Dan 8: tells us about the antichrist.
Dan 8:11&12 Tells us he will abolish the continual Burnt Offering. That presupposes there must be a restored temple.
Dan 8:13&14 Tell us it will be 2300 days or 6.3 years before the temple is re-consecrated. That tells us unequivocally that the 1260 day reign of the antichrist does not occur during the last half of the Seven Year Covenant, though he will be coming to power.
Dan 9:24-26 Tell us the last “week” (7-yrs. from prohibition of sacrifices & offerings) constitutes the end of this civilization since Noah.
Dan 9:27 Tells us
- there will be a Seven Year Covenant,
- sacrifice and offering will be abolished in the middle of this 7-year period, and
- sometime later, will come one who makes desolate, and then it insinuates a period of time beyond, to the “full end.”
We can now deduce that the “last week” begins in the middle of the Seven Year Covenant and continues for 6.3 years, extending 1290 days through the remainder of the Seven Year Covenant and 1260 days beyond the Seven Year Covenant (See Rev 11:2-3; 12:6 & 14; 13;5 & Ch. 14).
So, now, the framework has been established, we can start drawing time lines and look for further enlargement:
Dan 11 is more information (enlargement) on the antichrist and Great Tribulation.
Rev 11:2-4 gives us more info on the Great Tribulation period and a time frame of 42 months.
Dan 12: 1 (a continuation of the supernatural revelation that began in Chapter 8). This verse tells us clearly that the Rapture will occur in the period of The Great Tribulation as does Rev 14:4.
Dan 12:11-13 Tells us that the Abomination of Desolation occurs 3.5 years after the Abolishment of Sacrifice and Offering. So, when we recall the information from Dan 8 & 9 above we now know unequivocally that the Abomination of Desolation comes at the END of the Seven Year Covenant.
Dan 12:12 coupled with Dan 12:1 gives us a strong indication that the Rapture occurs 45 days into the Great Tribulation which follows the Seven Year Covenant.
Moreover, 2 Thes 2:1-5 Tells us that the Rapture will not occur until After the Abomination of Desolation, (better translated the Abomination that causes Desolation) which occurs at the End of the Seven Year Covenant.
And Rev. 14:4 tells us we are Raptured out of The Great Tribulation. Therefore, there is a notable contradiction! How in the world can anyone who studies the Bible proclaim that we are raptured before the Seven Year Covenant (which they heretically call the Tribulation Period)?
Matt 24:15-31 Tells us that the Raptures will not occur until After the Abomination of Desolation, which occurs at the End of the Seven Year Covenant as per Daniel 9:27 and 12:11-12.
Mark 13:14-27 Tells us that the Rapture will not occur until After the Abomination of Desolation, which occurs at the End of the Seven Year Covenant as per Daniel 9:27 and 12:11-12.
Luke 21:20-28 Tells us that the Rapture will occur After the Desolation of Jerusalem, giving us more synchronization.
Rev 12:6 Tells us there is a period of 1260 days or about 3.5 years after the rapture of the first fruits (the 144,000). The first fruits are a central theme running from their sealing in Revelation 7 & 14.
By this, we now have good indications the Great Tribulation and the antichrist’s reign is about 3.5 years following the Abomination that causes Desolation which occurs at the End of the Seven Year Covenant. This covenant is yet to be made.
Rev 12:14 Gives us another time definition for the Great Tribulation, a time, times and a half time (1x + 2x + ½x = 3.5x) A mystery and reinforcement and we now have the term in days, months and years.
Rev 13 Tells us more about the allegoric “beast out of the sea” (The Mideast Beast)
Dan 12:11-12 hermeneutically tells us exactly when the rapture is in accordance with Matthew 24:15-31, Rev Chapters 7 & 14.
Rev 13:5 Tells us his reign will be for 42 months or about 3.5 years, which correlates with Dan 8:13-14 and Rev 12:6 and clears up a question. It tells us the duration is in literal days, not years for days.
Dan 12:11-12 hermeneutically tells us exactly when the rapture is in accordance with Matthew 24:15-31, Rev Chapters 7 & 14.
NOTE: The Wrath of God is a distinct time period. It is within the Great Tribulation, also called the Day of the Lord. A concordant search will reveal that we are born unto “tribulation,” but not unto “”wrath.”
During our life God chastens, permits afflictions, persecutions, and tribulations to try, purge, and make us “white,” even as silver is refined in the furnace, but — we are instructed to “wait for His Son from Heaven . . . even Jesus, which hath delivered us from the wrath to come.”
I Thessalonians 1:10. The term “delivered” in Greek is rhuomai, meaning “to rescue.” His coming is therefore “to rescue” us from the wrath to come; NIV uses this rendering: “God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation . . . Wherefore comfort yourselves together.”
I Thessalonians 5:9&11– Why? For we have received salvation from the “Wrath of God!”
In the book “Revelation”, the term “tribulation” or “great tribulation” does not appear in the opening of the scroll with seven seals, which is the outline for end of age events. The term “tribulation” appears in Revelation 7:14, when the saints are in heaven, [e.g. immediately after the Rapture]. The term does not appear again in scripture; but the Wrath of God replaces it, appearing thirteen (13) times from Revelation 6:16 to Revelation 19:15, during which time “they repented not” is repeated three times.—Mary Stewart Relfe, PhD, “When Your Money Fails.”
(The money system will fail after the Rapture, so if you love and await the return of The Lord Jesus our Christ, you can feel assured if you’re in a safe place (like your own mini “farm” you’ll manage alright. If you run a business expect the economy to keep running until you’re left for God’s parallel universe – His “place of safety.” (sn)
Matthew 24:33-35 allegorically makes it moderately clear and hermeneutics makes it amply clear that there will only be one generation between the reestablishment of Israel as a nation (1948) and the end of the age.
Psalms 90:10 explains a generation as 70 to 80 years. 2019 (-) 1948 = 71. If you are age 68 – 71 it’s possible you will see the last days and experience the rapture. Ending events will require 10.5 years. (sn)
Therefore, the beginning event of the 10.5 years will likely take place this year or next. As I work on this article the date is 5/6/19 and Hamas is showering Israel with rockets. If this event, which both sides vow is going to continue, somehow ends with the destruction of The Dome of the Rock mosque on what is referred to as “The Temple Mount” or if it ends with the complete destruction of Damascus, that might be a good indicator of when the 10.5 year clock began. I (Newdell) thought perhaps it began when the US opened the Embassy in Jerusalem or when Mr. Trump (the trumpet) declared Jerusalem the Capital of Israel without more debate and delay. Whichever it is, we can see we’re very close.
Daniel 9:27 tells us the countdown will commence with a Seven Year Covenant which any student of world politics can readily interpret to be the Mideast Peace Treaty that has been front-page news and the major consideration of the U.N for 69 years.
Daniel 12:11-12 reinforces 9:27 and extends “time of this age” 45-days past the end of the Seven Year Covenant. Daniel 8:13-14 makes it clear that “the time of this age” extends 2300 days or about 7.5-years after the abolishment of sacrifices and offering in a restored temple at the mid-point of the Seven Year Covenant or Mideast Peace Treaty.
That carries through the 3.5 year remainder of the Seven Year Covenant and through the 3.5 year period of the Great Tribulation or Day of The LORD, and the reign of the antichrist before Jesus’ return with the Church to fight the Battle of Armageddon and set-up the Millennial Reign of Christ for a thousand years.
Rev 11:2-3, 12:6&14, 13:5 tell us the Great Tribulation or, Day of The LORD, or Time of God’s Wrath, or the reign of the antichrist will be 1260 days or about 3.5-years, which begins with the Abomination of Desolation at the end of the Seven Year Covenant.
Thus, the entire time span is 10.5 years. Now consider; if the Abomination That Causes Desolation occurs at the end of the Seven Year Covenant as indicated by Daniel 9:27 and 12:11-12, it is not logical for the last 3.5 year period to be included within the last-half of the Seven Year Covenant as many proclaim.
This leaves us asking; where or when is The 70th Week of Daniel 9:24?
- Daniel’s 70th Week begins at the midpoint of the Seven Year Covenant. Thus 3.5 years has passed.
- It extends through its 3.5 years remaining
- and then through the 1260 days (3.5-years) of the Great Tribulation (Dan. 8:13-14.
Add these three together and you have 10.5 years. I realize this comes as a shock to some who wish to be settled in their theory and belief system, but it’s much more than theory and if they continue as they have been they’ll be far off the correct course.
The time of the Rapture is clearly indicated in Daniel 12:1, 11-12. The subject of the chapter is “The Rapture” and it’s telling us when it will occur!
An outline of the events of Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 and the events of Revelation 5-11, 12 and 13-19 will be astoundingly hermeneutic.
Moreover, you will notice in that outline of Revelation’s events, the Rapture of the First Fruits occurs at Rev 7:1-9, 12:5 and 14:1-6 followed by the Rapture of the Church, all under the 6th seal and the beginning of the Time of Wrath. Any belief in a Rapture before or after this point is, therefore, totally illogical and counter to scripture.
The Rapture event is repeated again at Revelation 19:1 in one more sequence of events. All the events of the Rapture are hermeneutic (they agree) with Matthew 24:15-31, Mark 13:12-23 and Luke 21:20-28. When you outline each set, and set them side by side, you will see that it cannot possibly fit any other way. Moreover, they will be in harmony with Zachariah, Joel and Amos as well.
Clearly then we can understand the signs of when the rapture will begin. We will see the Temple built, the sacrifices begin, the sacrifices be stopped and forbidden by the heretofore unknown AntiChrist, and from that point we can could 7.5 years to THE END of the world as we have known it and the Glorious Arrival of Jesus Our Christ to set this sick and dying evil world right again and make it the Garden of Eden He always intended for each of us to enjoy.

Pity: Most of the people I know don’t read, can’t read (?) or they know me, therefore I must know nothing. A stranger who claims to be a professor at a college they might read. The Lord doesn’t give His warnings and salvation away for free. You have to do something. You have to keep his commandments, and you have to heed his words. To heed his words you must actually read and learn. They don’t, or cannot and therefore are waiting to be victims. Many already are victims and their problems will only get worse.
Where are you in this mix? You’d better get right with God or “get left” out of the protection and the wedding of they who love The Lord to The Christ Jesus. To more easily find your way, go back to the home page and see the articles about The True Gospel. Get the truth firmly in mind and the rest will follow more easily. sn
